How do you repair a water-damaged ceiling?
Once the leak is sorted and the framing dries out, we cut back the damaged board to sound timber. Then we fit a fresh piece of plasterboard, tape the joins, and apply three coats of compound so it paints up clean.
Can you blend new plasterboard into older textured walls?
Yes. We feather the joint compound wide across multiple coats, tapering it into the surrounding wall. Once you prime and paint, the patch blends in with the existing finish.
