Plastering for Bayside Conditions
Homes out near the water deal with plenty of humidity and seasonal movement. On older brick-and-tile houses and high-set timber builds, that movement often shows up as cracking along cornice lines and sheet joins. We use quality paper tape and trade basecoats across wide open-plan rooms so joints hold together when the weather shifts.

Residential plastering
From updating older family homes to sheeting new extensions, we cover all residential plastering. That includes hanging plasterboard, square-setting, running cornice, and patching damaged walls back to a smooth, flat surface.

We fit suspended grid ceilings, fire-rated walls, and acoustic partitions for local shops and offices. Acoustic and fire ratings come from the architect's specified system, and we install strictly to those system designs.

Deteriorating adhesive and old roof leaks often lead to sagging plasterboard ceilings in established homes. We strip out broken sheets, check and re-batten the joists where needed, and screw off new plasterboard with clean, flat joins.

Wellington Point plastering FAQs
How do you repair cracked joins caused by humidity?
We scrape back loose filler, re-screw the plasterboard into the framing timber, and bed paper tape into trade basecoat. Paper tape handles seasonal movement far better than stick-on fibreglass mesh.
Can you fix ceiling damage from roof leaks?
Yes. Once the roof leak is sorted, we pull down the water-damaged plasterboard, check the timber framing, and install new sheets flush with the existing ceiling.
How do I get a quote?
Use the form at the top of this page and attach a few photos. We will reply with next steps or arrange an inspection.
What affects the price?
Size of the area, access, ceiling height, board condition and finish. Photos and measurements help us price accurately.
