Plastering for River Suburb Homes and Big Layouts

A lot of homes in this leafy pocket have broad open-plan living areas, raked ceilings, and humidity off the river to deal with. Wide ceiling spans move as the seasons change if they aren't framed and fixed right. We back-block butt joints, space expansion joints properly, and use the right base coats so sheets stay flat and joints don't crack over time.

Fig Tree Pocket plastering FAQs

How do you prevent cracking across wide ceiling spans?

Large open ceilings move as framing expands and contracts. We back-block all butt joints, put in control joints on long runs, and bed good quality paper tape into strong base coats so your joints stay solid and crack-free.

Can you repair ceilings affected by roof leaks or humidity?

Yes. Once the roof leak is stopped and the timber dries out, we cut away any soft or water-stained plasterboard back to the rafters. We fit new sheets, tape the joints, and feather the compound out wide so it blends in evenly once painted.

How do I get a quote?

Use the form at the top of this page and attach a few photos. We will reply with next steps or arrange an inspection.

What affects the price?

Size of the area, access, ceiling height, board condition and finish. Photos and measurements help us price accurately.
