How do you repair water-damaged ceilings after storm leaks?
Once the leak is sorted, we cut away the soft or sagging plasterboard and let the framing dry out. We check the battens, screw off new sheets, and tape and set the joins so the ceiling is ready to paint.
Can you blend new plasterboard into older character home walls?
Yes. Older walls are rarely plumb or dead flat. We pack out the framing, use solid base coats, and feather the joint compound wide across the joins so the transition doesn't show under paint.
